Hi there, I'm Denise, a certified Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist and coach with a keen interest and specialty in dealing with insomnia, habits and phobias, and mindful weight management (incl. weight loss). I created JoySpace Therapy with the clear goal of enabling more people to experience joy in their everyday lives.

In my practice I use evidence-based, solution focused approaches and techniques (such as Hypno-CBT®) which enable me to devise a personalised treatment plan in order to help you achieve your goals, realistically and without any unnecessary 'fluff'. I most often work with people who want to change the status quo, who are stuck in unhelpful thought patterns, who want to boost their performance, their sleep, reduce anxiety and stress, and who want to see progress in their lives, either personal or professional.

From the start, we work together focusing on building realistic and healthy habits and mechanisms which can be applied in your life, while we also work on empowering you to take the needed steps to improve your sleep, confidence, self-esteem and overall well being.
