About me

Hello there. My name is John Williams and I am a qualified hypnotherapist. Although I live near Barnard Castle the current global climate means all of my work is done via video calling. Therefore, no matter where you live, I will be able to help.

For the last 11 years, I have worked for Local Government helping vulnerable adults with both mental health needs and/or are socially disadvantaged. In this time, I discovered that most people already possess the ambition to change their lives for the better.  We just sometimes need that helping hand or nudge in the right direction to get on track.  And this is where I can help.

I have helped people tackle a wide range of issues including stress, anxiety, fear, phobias, weight management and stopping smoking, nail biting and public speaking.

Hypnotherapy is a bit like guided meditation but with an aim to make subtle changes that can help you reach your goal. So whether you need a confidence boost for a job interview, loose a few pounds ready for the end of “lockdown” or you want to simply feel more relaxed, together we can make all the changes needed to get you to where you want to be.

My mantra has always been “Once you have the start, the rest is inevitable”. So the fact you’re reading means you’ve made that start. So let us complete the journey together. There is only the one “you”, so why not be the best “you” you can be?

Your next step is to get in touch so we can arrange a free consultation to discuss where you need the support and together we come up with an action plan of how we achieve it.

I can very offer face to face sessions using my space in Darlington or via videocalling - whichever you prefer.

Outdoor sessions are always an option but at the mersy of British weather!
