John Cooper MPNLP Dhp CNHC GHR(reg)
Hi, I'm John. I am a solution based hypnotherapist and coach helping people to make positive changes in their lives. I use advanced NLP techniques and hypnosis in my practice, offering round the clock support and healing to my clients.
Many people come to me feeling lost or stuck, not sure of their options. I help to bring some clarity and identify ways to change.
I help people to let go of negative fears and emotions and to install positive new beliefs. I can help with anxiety, phobias, confidence, public speaking, weight loss, smoking cessation and much more. I specialise in helping people to let go of pain and start working towards a brighter future. I am a specialist in helping people to stop smoking forever.
I am friendly in my style, honest and pragmatic. I like to make people laugh and love to help people make ecological and lasting changes to their lives.
Hypnosis is great for changing the past and brilliant for changing the future. Getting what you want is easier than you think. If you're not sure whether coaching or hypnosis can help, get in touch and we can talk it through.
It is possible to have the life you want, all you need is a little help.
Training, qualifications & experience
- Hypnotherapy Practitioner
- NLP Master Practitioner
- Qualified teacher.
I am DBS checked, fully insured and a member of the Complimentary and National Healthcare Council and the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council.
Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council
The CNHC encompasses many types of alternative therapy, including hypnotherapy.
In order to be admitted to the register a practitioner must have studied to the National Occupational Standards for that profession/discipline, or have reached the equivalent of the National Occupational Standards through other relevant training or at least three years of experience and been assessed by their peers.
A practitioner must also have professional insurance and agree to abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.
The General Hypnotherapy Register
Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).
Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.
All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.
Accredited register membership
Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
Areas of hypnotherapy I deal with
If you have been diagnosed or suspect you may have one of the medical conditions starred above, you should consult your GP for advice, diagnosis and treatment and always inform your health professional before starting any alternative or additional therapies or treatments.
Other areas of hypnotherapy I deal with
Hypnotherapy and NLP are fantastic tools for dealing with specific problems. If you are locked in to a pattern you'd like to have freedom from, I can help.
The best part of my work is in helping people to design their own futures, setting goals in a revolutionary and compelling way. By teaching you how to harness the power of your imagination, you can have the life that you have always wanted. I specialise in making bright futures.
I can help with sleeping problems and work with understanding dreams and banishing night terrors.
A session lasting 50-70 minutes is £70.
A stop smoking package is £250. This includes consultation, free e-book, audio download, 2 hour stop smoking forever session and follow up appointment.
A free consultation meeting is a brilliant way to find out if I am the right therapist for you and helps us to ask all the questions we need before beginning our change work. I can then design a program tailored to your individual needs.
Please let me know if you are retired or not unwaged and I may be able to reduce my fee. I don't want anyone to go without help because they can't afford help.
