About me

Hello and welcome to iHypnosis Therapy Essex - based in Basildon. Essex

My name is Jodine Downham. DHP and I am a fully qualified professional Clinical Hypnotherapist, Psychotherapist, and Hypnoanalyst in the Basildon, Essex area.

I am also a Certified Slim via Hypnosis Practioner.

My passion is to enable my clients to have a positive mindset, so they can live the best possible life that they desire and deserve. I support and provide my clients with the appropriate type of therapy tailored to their needs in order to make the changes they want to make.

I decided to train as a Clinical Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist as I have always been passionate about helping others. I previously worked for the NHS as a health care assistant and although I could not offer patients much help physically, I felt that I could help them to cope better with the right attitude and the right frame of mind to help them deal with their complex conditions better. This enabled them to feel more in control of their lives by having the right tools and skills to be able to manage the anxiety and the worry of living with their illnesses.

This made me think about how much I really wanted to help people to be able to cope better in life by dealing with various emotional problems and mental health issues. I made the decision and enrolled on one of the most highly respected courses in Essex, at K.I.C.H Hypnotherapy training college in Medway Kent. This was established by the wonderful and very successful Mr. Terence Watts and the very best tutors which have enabled me with the best knowledge and skills in becoming a professional practitioner in clinical hypnotherapy, psychotherapy, and hypnoanalysis.

My clients come to me with so many negative emotions and insecurities about themselves and they feel that they can't move forwards, but even after the first session, my clients leave feeling positive and excited for the future, something they hadn’t felt in a long long time. Clients come to see me because they want to feel better, they want to learn more, think faster, feel less emotional pain, lose weight, stop those unhealthy habits, change their emotional responses to various situations in their lives, and to generally live a better life!

My job is very rewarding as I get to see my clients shift into a much more positive and fulfilling life, and a much better happier future, its truly life-changing is how it is described by people who have experienced clinical hypnotherapy.

My hypnotherapy practice is based in Basildon, Essex, and is in a great location which is in easy reach of Laindon, Billericay, Brentwood, Thurrock, Benfleet, Chelmsford, and Southend.

I cover all areas in this region, and I am also fully insured and fully accredited. My practice offers ample FREE easy access parking, and I provide my clients with a calm, peaceful, safe, and confidential environment always.

(Please note that I am a fully qualified, fully insured, and fully accredited Clinical Hypnotherapist, Psychotherapist and Hypno-analyst).

Areas of hypnotherapy I deal with

Information about health conditions (*)

Hypnotherapy can enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting hypnotherapy.

Other areas of hypnotherapy I deal with

I help many clients with various issues that they present to me. We work together to get to where the client feels they have reached their goal and just generally feel in a better place mentally. I use a simple, powerful, and effective toolbox of hypnotherapy techniques and strategies to facilitate change in limiting harmful thoughts, feelings, or behaviour. They harness the incredible subconscious powerhouse of capability we all have hidden away to achieve our full potential and enjoy a satisfying and rewarding quality of life.

Some of the issues I help clients overcome here at iHypnosis Therapy Essex.
