About me

I have over 20 years of experience working with clients with a variety of physical and psychological addictions in a counselling capacity. Using a mix of Hypnotherapy and Counselling techniques I aim to give clients a sense of well-being', improving physical and emotional energy levels and aid relaxation.

I work with a variety of issues, addictions, phobias and desired behavioural changes. I am able to offer a holistic approach to hypnotherapy which can be conducted in my own fully insured, comfortable and relaxing therapy room, or in some cases from the comfort of your own home.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have a BA(hons) Degree in Psychology, an NLP Practitioner qualification and a  Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy. I am also a Master Hypnotist and an Advanced Smoking Cessation Specialist

The General Hypnotherapy Register

Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).

Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.

All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.

Further information

Hypnotherapy can be scary if you have never experience it before as there are many myths and untruths surrounding it. I am happy to talk you through the whole process on the telephone before you make any decisions about booking a session. I will answer any questions you have no matter how small, no question is a stupid question.

My passion is supporting people with Anxiety. I have been a sufferer myself and had Hypnotherapy many years ago and the difference was amazing. My background is Psychology but following my own Hypnotherapy experience I wanted to know how it worked. The mind is such a powerful entity, it can make us feel, behave and believe a multitude of good and bad things, I love to see the changes in people simply by the power of suggestion.
