Hi, I am a fully qualified Integrative Hypnotherapist specialising in Anxiety. Most health or well-being challenges can be brought to me and whether it be weight, pain, sleep or phobia there is often some anxiety present. With a background as a Nurse, Midwife, Health visitor, Practice Teacher and since 2013 a therapist, I have worked with many different people helping them to address their concerns. In a safe, confidential and comfortable space we can explore what is impacting your life.
Do you need to make some changes? Need some strategies to manage anxiety, phobias, addictions or general health issues? Or are you struggling with motivation and wishing to maintain progress with particular habits?
Before meeting we can make contact by phone or email to discuss any concerns or queries you may have about how sessions can support you. This free consultation helps you to identify what you want to achieve from our sessions and can introduce you to how we can work together.
At our first meeting we will explore the issue, to plan small steps towards achieving your goals. This is time and space for you to be really listened to and can be empowering in itself. Clients often know what they want to do, but need help to access their resources, to get insight into their thoughts, feelings and behaviours. Following the session there may be practical skills to practice or tasks to complete, which support the process of change.
I use NLP, CBT, psycho therapeutic and coaching techniques as well as hypnotherapy.

Anxiety or stress can be a large influence on health and well-being, which reduces our ability to cope with everyday life. Some of the many benefits of hypnotherapy includes a relaxed, inward focusing state where connection with your subconscious enables changes to begin to take place.
Areas of expertise include anxiety (particularly in late teenage and early adulthood) confidence, weight and pain management.

When working with children and young people the parent or carer needs to be involved, give consent and stay within the premises. The adult will be informed of the process and be aware of the overall exploration.
On occasion, particularly with the older teenager, they may need a confidential therapeutic relationship and this can be discussed.
