Jill is a qualified and experienced Hypnotherapist and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) practitioner working in and around Leeds and Bradford. Following her own experience of using hypnotherapy to help her own stress and anxieties, Jill trained with Innervisions School of Clinical Hypnosis and set up her successful business Help Through Hypnotherapy. Working predominantly with people to change their habits and overall outlook, Jill uses hypnotherapy and EFT to facilitate the changes each individual person requires.

Hypnotherapy is an effective method for healing and creating change and EFT can unlock those emotional blockages that we all hold on to. Combining the two can give relief and release to a wide variety of symptoms.
Picture your mind as an iceberg. Only a small part of an iceberg is visible above the surface of the water and this is similar to the conscious mind; the part which is responsible for everyday thoughts, analysing information and making decisions.
Below the surface is the subconscious mind, the much larger part which deals with memories, emotions and the autonomic nervous system. It is this part that stores all the individual behaviours and responses which make us who we are.
During hypnosis, the subconscious mind is receptive to suggestion and hypnotherapy uses this process to introduce alternative thought or behaviour patterns and responses.
You are guided into a wonderful calm place using words, breathing exercises and imagery. It will feel similar to when you are just about to fall asleep

EFT is very easy to learn and will help you remove negative emotions, reduce or eliminate unwanted sensations and implement positive goals
EFT is a form of psychological acupressure based on the same energy points as traditional acupuncture. Simple tapping with the fingertips and voicing positive affirmations can clear the emotional blockages and restores your mind and body balance

What to expect
You will sit in a comfortable chair or lie on a sofa for your treatment.
You’ll remain in control at all times and are able to move freely if you need to.
You might hear everything or only part of what is said. Hypnotherapy will work, even if you hear nothing at all or can’t remember any of it.
Soothing background music uses subliminal tones to enhance your relaxation during the sessions.
Guided imagery and breathing techniques encourage a positive outlook and the adoption of new habits.
All you need to do is sit back, let go and enjoy the experience. All therapy is a process of growth and self-discovery.
You can expect to feel calm, relaxed, comfortable and safe, even if you normally find it hard to switch off. Hypnotherapy will allow you to rediscover these feelings.
From the first session you will soon feel refreshed and start to notice changes taking place.
