About me

Do you have aspects of your life that aren't balanced? Too much anxiety or stress, habits that you seem to have no control over, repetitive behaviour or simply very little willpower to make things change?

You may have had your issues for a while and may have contemplated getting help - at the point where you actively seek help you will really reap the benefits of my Therapy.

Passionate about helping you through Hypnotherapy and Solution-focused practice. I am also very much committed to my own ongoing personal change and self-development. This has accelerated in the last 4 years through actively helping people to change areas of their lives. I am now 4 stone lighter than I used to be and continue to manage and keep my weight correct. I have changed many aspects of my own life. I enjoy most areas of my life now and it wasn't always so. A great deal of this is about living in the moment and hand in hand with that, you can become strong and challenge your fears.

When considering me as your hypnotherapist I encourage you to call me for a no obligation friendly chat. You may need to pluck up the courage and may feel embarrassed about calling me but honestly, there is really no need to feel embarrassed at all as I am here to help you and want to help you.   The purpose of the chat is to establish rapport but also to make sure that you are quite ready to benefit from Therapy.

Virtually everyone that seeks hypnotherapy can be hypnotised.  I have found that people can be very surprised about the levels of relaxation they can achieve. Often people who claim that they can't relax can achieve very good levels of relaxation relatively easily. Learning to relax properly is one skill that you should acquire.   It can lower your blood pressure and help you sleep better.

I have found that people can be very surprised about the levels of relaxation they can achieve. Often people who claim that they can't relax can achieve very good levels of relaxation relatively easily. Learning to relax properly is one skill that you should acquire.   The most obvious benefits are that this can lower your blood pressure and help you sleep better but can also reduce muscular skeletal problems.

Before I became a hypnotherapist I probably had the same misapprehensions as most people about hypnosis and hypnotherapy.   I discovered that it really is a form of altered consciousness and that stage hypnotism is very misleading and is completely different from hypnotherapy. You usually remember everything that the hypnotherapist talks about and it is a bit like a lucid daydream.   Sometimes my own results have been dramatic but most of all I enjoy seeing people change for themselves and to see the pure joy on their faces after successful therapy is immensely rewarding.

There have been enough personal challenges in my life to be attuned to a great many of my clients.

I encourage people to visit my website which is in a constant state of development. There are nearly 40 reviews and this is growing all the time. jeffcassapihypnotherapy/reviews/

Training, qualifications & experience

Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis - Dip Hyp
GHR Registered Hypnotherapist
GQHP - General qualification in Hypnotherapy Practice.

I have managed teams of people and ran a volunteer group for a number of years. I have worked in many different industries and as a teacher.

My passion for hypnosis developed following mid-life changes and career changes. I am a Dad - my son is now grown up (24) and lives nearby in Liverpool.

I have had life experiences that help me attune to my clients and I believe this makes me a better therapist.

My Web site has a lot of information written directly by me and I have published 20+ articles on the Hypnotherapy Directory. (See below)

Member organisations

GHR

The General Hypnotherapy Register

Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).

Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.

All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.

Areas of hypnotherapy I deal with

Information about health conditions (*)

Hypnotherapy can enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting hypnotherapy.

Other areas of hypnotherapy I deal with

I am particularly attuned to the complexities of Mid life issues. Anxiety, Depression, Change management, grief, relationship issues and pain management.

I also combine some Solution Focused practice with Hypnotherapy.   I have considerable experience of training and coaching. I can also Non-Hypnotic techniques such as NLP and EFT.

I have used hypnotherapy with all ages - children and adults.

Whatever ideas you have then please call me to discuss them. If I don't think seeing me is the right course of action for you I will certainly tell you.
