About me

Anxious? Depressed? Stressed? Contact me, I'm Jayne May based in Sheffield and here to 'help you to clear your pathway' and make the changes to alleviate you from these issues. I am a qualified Hypnotherapist DipH, Trainer (Assoc CIPD) and Dip NLP practitioner, I also have a Certificate in Smoking Cessation and Weight Management .

I established ‘Clear Pathway Hypnotherapy’, because I’m passionate about providing people with the tools to help themselves and learn from their experiences and opportunities in life.

What sets me apart is that I have truly experienced first hand many of the areas I now treat, so you will gain from not just my theoretical and practical knowledge but also my true understanding of how life experiences can impact an individuals mind-set.

Investigating self-help methods to support my own experiences, took me down the road to becoming a qualified Hypnotherapist and NLP practitioner. My own 'pathway' was mapped out then, as I became avidly interested in studying relaxation techniques for stress, anxiety, depression and the use of mind power and positive thinking.

My passion has developed to the point now that it drives my desire and ability to help people to understand how they can use their own mind power to change their thinking, effectively and relatively quickly, and to do so in way that is productive and long lasting.....and so Clear Pathway Hypnotherapy emerged.

Training, qualifications & experience

My passion arose over the years learning what is now known as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Neuro- Linguistic Programming techniques. In addition I have many life experiences related to the areas that I treat. The outcome of my qualifications and life experiences mean I can draw on a lifetime of change and mindfulness, compassion, sincerity and integrity, as well as transferrable tools, knowledge and skills to help you reach your goals.

I call upon my qualifications, skills, knowledge and experience to help support people, so they feel able and confident to make their own life changes and take positive steps toward their own life paths.

I also have a vast knowledge and skillset from my previous career. My previous and challenging career spanned 30 years as a trainer, senior leader, project and commercial manager positions. So I know the challenges and stresses faced in the work place, as a result of life changes and study.

I am a qualified trainer and trainer of trainers and have associate membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. I am also qualified in and gained a Graduate Diploma in commercial purchasing and supply from the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply.

Areas of hypnotherapy I deal with

Information about health conditions (*)

Hypnotherapy can enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting hypnotherapy.

Other areas of hypnotherapy I deal with

I run stress and well being sessions for groups both corporate and private and in particular for schools, using Hypnotherapy, NLP, CBT and mindfulness techniques.

I run collaborative workshop sessions for divorcees and those who are separated to help their emotional and mental well being during and after this particular stressful time.

I am also happy to offer a 'FREE Talk and Relaxation Session' so you and your friends/colleagues can experience the benefits of the wonderful relaxation you feel as a result of hypnotherapy. I have carried out stress and relaxation sessions in schools, at a Womens Institute, the Sheffield Branch of the Clandestine Cake Club (after we ate the cake of course!)  So why not try it and see for your self what its all about, my group sessions are bespoke for your particular needs. Please contact me for further details.

Testimonials:

''Jayne has made me feel mentally stronger than I have felt for a long time. I would highly recommend her for her calm sensitive approach, her extensive knowledge and her efforts and determination to take you to a better place. Much appreciated S. March 2015. xx

''Jayne was very welcoming and made me feel really comfortable speaking about my anxiety and OCD. She was able to relate and have a great understanding about these which gave me confidence in the service Jayne was offering. Jayne was very flexible in her delivery and was very much focused on the things that I felt I wanted to tackle. The information provided to support the sessions was really useful and invaluable to have for continuing the things I have learnt. I would highly recommend Jayne to family and friends. My levels of anxiety have really been reduced since working with Jayne and I can’t thank her enough!' - F. Jan 2015

''Jayne was and is superb. Her voice and her calming manner, coupled with her knowledge and understanding of both the subject matter and people was helpful and reassuring. I have learnt a great deal about myself and feel i can manage things in my life much better. I have the tools and the motivation to change the things I can and not to worry about the things I can’t. Easy to say yet I know I can DO. She also came into school to deliver sessions to yr 11 students. Her manner was superb and the feedback from the students was excellent. She identified possible triggers which can be identified either now or in the future. Many yr 11s ignore the stress and I feel she opened the subject out for them''. E. Jan 2015

Additional testimonial regarding my practice rooms:

"1st mtg surpassed expectations thanks to Jayne @ClearPathwayHyp who sent us all home relaxed with self-help tips on destressing our lives" - Bread and Roses W.I. Ecclesall (Stress prevention session followed by relaxation).

''I received a session of guided relaxation from Jayne, I am a busy Life Coach so I like to practice what I preach, and asked Jayne about her relaxation sessions using Hypnotherapy. I left feeling fully relaxed. She explained everything that was going to happen and took all my details to assess what I needed before the session. Her practice rooms are light, airy, quiet and relaxing with beautiful décor & soothing ( but not annoying ) relaxation music & candles ( optional she explained as not everyone likes them!)
I would happily recommend Jayne to my clients ,and would happily relax with her guidance again. Karen Perkins Lifecoach  '' Feb 2015
