About me
My name is Ian Surman and I am a professionally trained clinical hypnotherapist with a private practise in Fenny Drayton, Leicestershire. I have a friendly, patient, empathic and attentive manner and aim to help you to achieve your goals in a way that acknowledges your individuality, your experiences and the way that you see the world.
I variously use hypno-behavioural; hypno-cognitive behavioural; hypno-analytical; client centred and Eriksonian approaches, in conjunction with direct and indirect suggestions, parts therapies, metaphorical approaches and other relevant techniques, to bring about the positive changes that you seek. Wherever possible, I match techniques to your requirements, preferences and prior experiences.
I received my training in evidence-based hypnotherapy at the highly regarded London College of Clinical Hypnosis, where I specialised in the treatment of anxiety and bodily focussed repetitive behaviours, such as nail-biting. I now specialise in helping people to stop smoking, and offer professional and effective treatment for a wide range of other issues and conditions
If you would like to discuss how I can help you to achieve your goals, you can contact me to arrange a free, face-to-face consultation in the tranquil and comfortable surroundings of Drayton Cottage, in Fenny Drayton; or if you prefer, you can arrange a free, initial telephone consultation.
I would be delighted to hear from you.
