About me

Hi, my name is John Kay and I have been successfully helping people through the use of hypnotherapy and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) since 1999. I believe that most issues can be successfully dealt with in one session of Hypnotherapy and I am able to assist people in overcoming a range of physical and mental issues using a form of treatment called 'Complete Mind Therapy' which was developed by the MindCare Organisation with whom I studied.

I have successfully stopped many people smoking in just 1 hour using a script that I developed for myself to stop smoking before I would accept any appointments. This has enabled me to say to potential clients that "I know that it works, because it worked for me over 20 years ago".

I was the first Hypnotherapist in the North East to qualify in the treatment of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and become a member of the UK Register of IBS Therapists. I successfully completed a course in Warrington with Michael Mahoney, the founder and manager of the register. This is a real first for the area and brings real hope to the many sufferers of this most horrible of illnesses.
