Hugh has spent his whole career interested in helping people. He started his professional life as a journalist before entering social work, and then special education, where he gained his MA at Cambridge with the University of East Anglia. Hugh sees his previous professional life experience as the perfect platform for his present expertise in advanced hypnotherapy and NLP.
Hugh supplies an ethical, caring, quick and confidential service. Please see Hugh's website www.hughclover.co.uk for much more detail about his services and testimonials from satisfied clients.
Hypnotherapy and NLP can help with more or less any problem at any time and can enhance performance.
Standards of hypnotherapy have been talked about for years. Recently there has been an attempt to combine all hypnotherapists under one standard register to 'protect the public'. Unfortunatley the standards of a register to include every hypnotherapist in the UK must be low. How could it be otherwise?
So the Corporation of Advanced Hypnotherapy has drawn up its own standards - The Atkinson-Ball Standard. These standards are taught at the Atkinson-Ball College of Hypnotherapy and Hypnohealing. The standards are laid out clearly under 'standards' on Hugh's website www.hughclover.co.uk The standards are also clearly laid out on the Corporation website www.advanced-hypnotherapy-register.com To discover more about how this standard of hypnotherapy can enable you to overcome problems and achieve more of your potential, quickly and elegantly, please consult these websites.
All members of the Corporation of Advanced Hypnotherapy are trained in some of the most advanced hypnotherapy techniques in the world. These techniques include effective and elegant tools, enabling clients to overcome lifelong, limiting beliefs. The question underlying all our work with clients is 'What does this client need?'
More and more, the medical profession is turning to Advanced Hypnpotherapy to deal with chronic problems of stress, anxiety, depression, and IBS to name but a few.
The term hypnotherapy gets banded about, giving people the assumption that it is basically one method. This is not the case.
Most hypnotherapy is based on the work of Dr Milton Erickson, who took suggestion to a whole new level. His rambling way of working belied the genius within.
Unfortunately, most Ericksonian therapists rely on scripts to get results. Dr Erickson never used a script in his work.
More direct methods of working were devised by Mr Dave Elman, who, in the 1940s and 1950s, taught his method to doctors and dentists in the USA.
The more advanced techniques of modern hypnotherapy are based on Elman's work. They are direct, quick and effective, partly, because the therapist goes with what the client is experiencing, rather than telling the client what they will
All Corporation of Advanced Hypnotherapy (Atkinson Ball Standard approved) therapists are supervised and insured. Complaints are directed straight to the president of the Corporation.
Direct personal access for information or complaints means no more being directed to a committee or some faceless organisation. By having an understanding of just what to expect from both your therapist and the process, it takes the guesswork out of chooosing an effective hypnotherapist.
Every therapist on our register practices advanced hypnotherapy. As it is more effective than conventional hypnotherapy, it is often cheaper, due to the fewer number of sessions required.
When a client contacts Hugh with regard to therapy he or she is asked to come to see Hugh for an initial consultation. Here the client is able to explain their difficulties in more detail, while Hugh explains what hypnotherapy entails, answers any questions the client may have, and explains exactly how he would work with the client. There is no pressure to undergo therapy after the initial consultation if the client decides not to.
A list of just some of the problems hypnotherapy is regularly used to help with (by no means comprehensive) is:
Agoraphobia, allergies, anxiety, anger, childbirth, claustraphobia, compulsions, lack of confidence, depression, driving test, eating disorders, eczema, exam nerves, sense of failure, fears, guilt, bad habits, headaches, indeciveness, indigestion, inferiority feelings, insomnia, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, learning difficulties, marital problems, memory difficulties, migraine, nail biting, nervousness, neurosis, nightmares, pain control, panic, phobias, psoriasis, public speaking, rejection feelings, self consciousness, sexual problems, shyness, sports abilities, smoking, stage fright, stress, tension, timidity, weight control and worry, and much more.
All the above problems Hugh has worked with over his 20 years of experience. Hugh particularly specialises in working with anxiety, confidence, self esteem and panic, but no problem is too big or too small to be considered.
Due to his previous professional experience as a teacher and social worker, Hugh is comfortable working with children and teenagers.
Hypnotherapy, as Hugh practices it, is a fast, comfortable, effective, and no-nonsense therapy, and can genuinely be life-changing.
SO WHY WAIT?
'Hugh provides a life-changing service in a calm and trusting environment and has a deep understanding of the human psyche. Hypnotherapy (and NLP) with Hugh actually changed the way I think about my work and personal life in ways I never expected it to. I believe everyone should try it' Mrs E.K
Training of the highest standard can be offered by the Corporation of Advanced Hypnotherapy to those interested in becoming effective/elegant advanced hypnotherapists - see abc-hypnotherapy-training.com It is hoped that a course will be held in the area of the Essex/Suffolk border next year.
