About me

I became fascinated with the powerful connection between mind and body because of my experience of its effectiveness in my own life. I therefore chose to train in Hypnotherapy, NLP, Life Coaching, and the Lightning Process®. By using a combination of these approaches, I can help you resolve a whole range of health and wellbeing issues. I design a unique programme for every client who comes to me, to meet your individual needs, goals and wishes.

And I love my work. It is a great privilege and a hugely rewarding experience to be able to help people create lasting change in their lives.

Hypnotherapy is a gentle and relaxing process. It uses the power of your unconscious mind to resolve issues, by giving you access to a wider range of skills and abilities than we are normally conscious of. Although we may not feel we know how to resolve an issue consciously, our unconscious mind holds the resources we need.

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) developed out of hypnotherapy and is often used as part of it. NLP discovered that there is a structure to how the mind works. And of course, once you know how something works, you can change it. With NLP's very effective tools I can teach you how to make long-lasting changes surprisingly quick and easily.

Life coaching can help you work out what you want in your life and increase your ability to achieve your goals. It complements hypnotherapy as it is important to know what you want in order to achieve it! It involves structured discussions, questions and activities that support you to move from where you are today to where you want to be.

I am also a Lightning Process® Practitioner in Bristol, Cardiff, Hereford and NW Wales. This is a 3 day training programme which teaches you how to use the connection between your brain and body to influence your health and happiness. It has wide applications for health and wellbeing, and once you are trained you can carry on using the technique to make changes throughout your life.

I offer hourly sessions in Hypnotherapy, NLP and Life Coaching at my clinic in Southville, Bristol. I also offer online or telephone sessions.

Choosing the practitioner with whom you will be making changes in your life is an important decision. So, before you make it, talk to me. You can speak to me on the phone or online, or come and meet me in a free half hour introductory session.

About me: I have been working as a qualified practitioner since 2009. My own experience has shaped the work that I do, and the person I am today. I was forced to give up working in Further Education because of chronic illness, which lasted 8 years. However, as a result of experiencing great improvements in my health, I decided to become a practitioner myself. So I am now able to share what I have learned with others.

Before training as a therapist I worked in Further Education for 15 years, teaching literacy, numeracy, goal setting and confidence building. I also supported adults with mental health issues and disabilities.

I bring clarity and compassion to my work, and a great commitment to my clients.

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a hypnotherapist's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the hypnotherapist to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.

Wheelchair accessible premises are available on request in Bedminster, Bristol. And my Southville clinic is on the ground floor with ground floor toilet. 2 steps up to entrance, with handrails. For other access enquiries please contact me.
