About me

My name is Elliott Henderson and I’m a professional clinical hypnotherapist. I help young adults and busy professionals overcome the things causing them to feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious every day.

Together we will work to understand the struggles you are facing and help transform the emotions and unwanted behaviours that are keeping you from being the person you want to be.

Using a combination of hypnosis, NLP and neuroscience brain based techniques, I work with clients to help them make positive changes in their lives.

This unique combination allows me to tailor sessions individually for each of my clients, helping them to find the right solutions for their particular situation.

This means that as the sessions progress my clients find themselves discovering and developing strengths and resources that will allow them to make the changes they need to live a happier, more fulfilling life.

I have public liability insurance, DBS checked and I have regular supervision to support my client work.

Free Initial Consultation

For many people hypnotherapy is something new and unfamiliar, which is why I offer a free 25 minute initial consultation where we can chat about what you would like to achieve and how hypnotherapy can help you do it.

To book your free consultation, please contact me and we can arrange a convenient time to speak.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Member organisations

The General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR)

Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).

Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.

All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.

Additional information

Initial Hypnosis Consultation - Free

The initial consultation is free and lasts approx. 25 minutes and includes a complimentary relaxation CD/MP3. We will talk about your challenges and how you would like Hypnotherapy to help. We will also discuss, and relate this to the workings of the brain, explain more about hypnotherapy and answer any questions or anxieties you may have. There is no obligation to make another appointment.

The initial consultation is information only and does not involve any ‘treatment’. The majority of my customers find this session very helpful, especially in understanding how their problem developed and is being maintained.

Hypnotherapy Sessions - £80 per session.

These sessions are an hour long. The first half of the session is spent helping you to focus on what you want to achieve. We look at your existing strengths and resources to help you find solutions that will allow you to achieve your goals.

During trance I use a combination of relaxation and positive suggestion to help you to begin creating the empowering behaviours and beliefs that you can use in your daily life to move forward.

When I work

Mon Tue Wed Thu Fri Sat Sun

Sessions are available from 9 am until 6 pm Mondays to Fridays. Flexible evening and weekend appointments are available. Please contact me to discuss.

What you can expect from a Hypnotherapy Session

The initial consultation is free and will take around 25 minutes.  The time is spent getting to know you and what changes you wish to make.  We can then decide on the most suitable therapy plan for you. All therapy sessions are in strict confidence.

I will explain how the mind works in relation to your specific problems, this knowledge is empowering.  It underpins the therapy and enables you to retain and build on the beneficial changes made during therapy for the future.   Any concerns or queries can be dealt with in this session.

How Many Sessions?

The number of sessions required varies. After we have discussed in detail what changes you would like make or habits you would like to leave behind, I will be able to give you an idea of how many sessions you will need.
