About me
I have a clinic in Sandhurst. I offer support, tools & strategies for Adults, Teens and Children. Helping with a wide range of issues of which the symptoms related to Thyroid disorders is one of my specialist areas of work. Liability insured, DBS checked, 1st Aid qualified.
I offer tailored sessions to support and help with any issue that is limiting your life or that or your child. I have a particular interest in helping those with Thyroid conditions manage symptoms like stress, anxiety, fatigue, weight issues, low self- esteem and depression. I also help with weight management.
I work with teens and children (aged 7 years upwards) and involve parents/guardians in all aspects of their child's therapy. I am advanced DBS checked.

Call or email me to arrange a non-obligatory initial consultation (usually 30 minutes). Thereafter, you can book sessions on a "Pay as you go" basis or take advantage of the discounted 3 session package.
What to expect from a session?
Session generally lasts 60-90 mins (depending on which services you have) and, quite often problems can be resolved within three sessions.
However sometimes more sessions will be needed.
You will be welcomed to my safe and confidential premises where you can be completely relaxed and open about how you feel.

Member organisations
The CNHC encompasses many types of alternative therapy, including hypnotherapy.
In order to be admitted to the register a practitioner must have studied to the National Occupational Standards for that profession/discipline, or have reached the equivalent of the National Occupational Standards through other relevant training or at least three years of experience and been assessed by their peers.
A practitioner must also have professional insurance and agree to abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.
Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).
Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.
All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.
The National Hypnotherapy Society is a Learned Society whose primary purpose is the advancement of the knowledge of hypnotherapy and the fostering of professional hypnotherapy expertise through training, accreditation and continued professional development of their members. The Society seeks to contribute to public wellbeing both through the use of hypnotherapy and by ensuring that hypnotherapists are safe, competent and ethical in practice.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Having suffered with an under-active thyroid myself for over 25 years I am well aware of the Psychological disturbances associated with a Thyroid condition and understand personally what it means to live and deal with them.The 2 main types are:
- Hyperthyroidism(over-active) which can cause anxiety, irritability and mood swings.
- Hypothyroidism (under-active) which can cause mental slowing, memory problems, weight fluctuations as well as depression.
