Heather Shaw BA (QTS) hons, HPD, DHP
About me
I am a fully qualified hypnotherapist and psychotherapist, insured and DSB checked. I am also registered with both the CNHC and AfSFH. Since qualifying in Bristol, I have had a range of experience working with all ages from young children to the very elderly. I have been delighted to help many clients who have experienced a wide range of difficulties - my youngest client at seven years old and the eldest so far being 81 years old. Regularly witnessing positive change in people, in a relatively short pace of time, is so rewarding.
My clients are in complete control for the whole hypnotherapy process. The strategies, tools and understanding that we develop together will benefit you for the rest of your life. Having learned to regain control over thoughts, feeling and behaviours, you will be able to cope in a constructive way with the demands of your life situation, whatever that may be. Without a doubt, the best part of my job is seeing the positive change in clients and having beneficial feedback the impact these changes are having on their health, well-being and lives.
Testimonials:
"I found Heather at a time when I was struggling to make some lifestyle changes. I am a carer for my young disabled child, which over the years has taken a toll on my emotional and physical well-being...over a short period of time of receiving hypnotherapy from Heather, I have noticed many positive changes, which have had, and continue to have, an enormous positive impact on my life...."
"Thank you Heather, for making such a positive change to my daily life. After years of anxiety, and chronic pain, I wasn't holding out much hope when I came to see you for the first time....what I wasn't prepared to have was a complete change of my outlook and coping mechanisms...I'd highly recommend Heather to anyone feeling overwhelmed and wanting to make a positive change..."
"After just four weeks my daughter was noticeably more relaxed, sleeping better and brimming with confidence."
"I was experiencing difficulties at work and this was causing me to have irregular sleeping patterns...hypnotherapy was an amazing experience and has helped me to see my life completely differently..."
