About me

The core belief at Therapy for the Mind is that whatever you want to achieve or eliminate in life, the solution lies within. My passion is to assist you on your journey so that you can tap into your inner greatness and discover the life you have always wanted.
For those of you that have been 'umming' and 'ahhing' about therapy, it's important to understand that it doesn't have to be a scary process. It can be like having a chat about what's happening with you and then finding ways to work through it, which is very empowering.
I take a very individualistic approach in the way I work: one size does not necessarily fit all. My job as your therapist is to work with whatever you bring into the room (a judgement-free room ;)) We would then find the right 'tools' to help you on the rest of life's journey. Its all about empowering the self!

Bsc Psychology, Diploma and advanced dip Integrative Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy, Counselling & NLP.
Member organisations
Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).
Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.
All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.

I am very much a 'peoples person' so through my experience in the world, coupled with my psychological background I see common patterns in how people miscommunicate and how relationships can break down. One of my areas of expertise is building self esteem and helping people to be their most fabulous selves. This is an area where there are so many dynamic ways of working and so it can be quite a fun journey...:)
