About me
I am a Clinical Hypnotherapist, Psychotherapist, NLP Master Practitioner and Time Line Therapist. I assist my clients in dealing with a wide range of issues using hypnotherapy. I have been working as a therapist for over 20 years and I am passionate about what I do. I am an approved therapist for Anxiety UK and work with both kids and adults. I am also a private healthcare provider for BUPA, Aviva, Cigna and WPA.
I initially came to therapy out of a curiosity to know why things were the way they were. Now, my curiosity extends to include how we perceive the world, why we perceive it the way we do and how this can have impact on our lives. Moreover, knowing from experience that our perceptions have a huge impact on initiating our outlooks and therefore our outcomes in life, I work at enabling my clients find better ways of perceiving life whilst at the same dealing with their presented issue(s) or condition(s).
I am also no stranger to life's challenging issues and I find that this can be a very good resource in helping others come to terms with and in resolving theirs. I am committed to my work and abide by the ethics of my profession. It would be a delight to eventually get to know you and to work with you.
With kind regards, Esther Emanuel

Further information
One-to-ones: I work from South Woodford, Ilford and Barking. However, I sometimes do home or work visits on clients' requests. I also do 'walks' and 'talks'. My working hours vary, so please call me first to establish the best times to see me. Nevertheless, I do recommend that clients call or write to me initially to discuss their issues or conditions. This usually helps us establish if I am the best person for them and if we would work well together. Following this, and upon making a decision to work together, we could then schedule a first appointment.
A first appointment normally lasts up to 60 minutes and consists of taking some notes as well as preparing you for the therapy ahead. As a result, I will be asking you questions to aid me in gathering some background information about you and your condition and your expectations of therapy. I will also be preparing your subconscious mind to accept suggestions to be given at later session(s). You are free to ask me any questions at this or any other appointment. The notes I take are solely to give me a platform to work from and to establish how many sessions you are likely to have and the most effective mode of therapy to suit you. The outcome of this appointment will be communicated to you and you are free to discuss it at any time.
Groups: I facilitate, group hypnosis sessions on a monthly basis from South Woodford. It runs from 6.15pm to 7.30pm on a Thursday evening. If interested, please contact me for further details.
