About me

I am a private practitioner of Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy qualified at the National College of Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy to the Advanced Diploma level. I have 25 years' experience helping with unwanted habits, phobias, social difficulties, anxiety,  stress and a variety of other physical and psychological issues. Hypnotherapy is a creative tool for change which will also help you learn to relax, get to know yourself and help make only the changes that you want.

I am trained in a variety of approaches and often my treatment incorporates Psychotherapy, Cognitive-Behavioural and Counselling techniques. I work with individuals, both young and old, adults and young people

Sessions last 50 minutes, apart from the first one which lasts 40 minutes and is free.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have a degree in Psychology (membership of BPS), plus Counselling and Psychotherapy qualifications and experience working with adults, children and young people for over 25 years.

I obtained my Hypnotherapy qualifications at the National College of Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy in 1995, followed by the Advanced Diploma in Hypno-Psychotherapy in 2002 issued by NCHP.

Since then I have worked constantly in private practice, among others in Harley Street and Hale Clinic in London. For several years I worked as a school and college counselor, with young people and staff. I kept broadening my knowledge in the field, attending courses on CBT, Mindfulness and Stress Management. I am trained in different approaches, like Psychodynamic, CBT, Gestalt, Rogerian, and can say that my general approach is integrative.

Areas of hypnotherapy I deal with

Information about health conditions (*)

Hypnotherapy can enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting hypnotherapy.

Other areas of hypnotherapy I deal with

I have a 'packet' of 4 stop-smoking sessions with offered aftercare.

Eating disorders and self-harm is something I had to deal with very often when working with young people as a college counselor. Counseling techniques and Hypnotherapy were very valuable tools when tackling the underlying issues and distorted view of reality.

I have a long experience dealing with all sorts of emotional and psychological issues, especially social difficulties, where Hypnotherapy proved to be particularly helpful, like lack of confidence, anxiety, phobias, self-image - and any other issues posed by our society and the way we live.
