About me

Hi, I'm Diane, I am an experienced solution focused hypnotherapist. I will work with you as a client on an individual basis to help you towards your preferred future, helping you to feel better, more confident and more able to cope with everyday life.

The blended techniques of solution focused talking therapy and hypnosis are a perfect combination for clients who are anxious, stressed and/or depressed and who would like a positive, hope-filled future.

I support clients with a range of presenting problems and challenges. However, the focus of our sessions are not the problem but the solution. And I will help you to start to take small steps towards your goal. We will not dwell on the past or historical issues. Our sessions will be hope filled and positive, helping you to move forwards, learning to think in a different way. You may even notice positive changes in other areas of your life, areas that we may not even discuss.

From the wealth of experience I have from working as a paediatric nurse and health visitor, I specialise in supporting children and young people. The sessions are bespoke to each individual, last approximately 30-40 minutes at a price of £45 per session. I request a parent is present for younger children under the age of 12.

There are many challenges and issues that solution focused hypnotherapy can support with. Most clients see long lasting benefits after 6-10 sessions, however, this varies from person-to-person. Our sessions are bespoke to you, will last approximately 50-70 minutes and I will always consult with you regarding your progress. I will provide you with a free MP3/CD for you to listen to at home and encourage you to listen to this on a regular basis.

I work from a beautiful therapy room that is based in the back garden of my home in a very quiet and peaceful location in Aughton, Ormskirk. The room is specifically designed to help you to feel comfortable and relaxing. It is well ventilated and spacious. There is plenty of parking space, easy access to rail links via Aughton Park train station. It is at ground level with one small step to navigate and wheelchair access via a purpose build path.

Please don't hesitate to contact me to discuss your individual needs, I am always willing to chat with you if you are unsure whether this type of therapy is for you and whether it will help with your particular problem.
