Hi, I'm Dhajinder.

Silly question but are you a person who 'has it all' but you'r still unsatisfied with your life?

Do you feel that you have to always put on a brave face or project a certain image of confidence despite struggling through an inexplicable sense of self doubt,  low self worth, guilt , lack of confidence, fear of being caught out ?

You know that many of your anxiety symptoms aren't always so obvious. For instance, you are busy channelling all your time and energy into work, ignoring your relationships and personal health. 

Or perhaps you are so defined by your career or your role that you're constantly swimming against a sea of stress. This causes you to lie awake at night with churning thoughts of insecurities and fear and you wake up feeling drained and worn out.

Imagine how wonderful it would feel if you could take control of your anxieties and stress.

Imagine just how good it would feel to learn to believe in yourself and enjoy all that you have.

With my help and a little work from the world of therapies you can achieve and enjoy the simple pleasures of living.

The reason why the psychotherapies tools l use, can be so effective is because many of our insecurities and anxiety related issues, often stems from some experiences or relationships in our past.

Many people, including myself, carry around so much unconscious guilt, anger and shame that we don't think we deserve real happiness. So without being aware, this serves both as a self punishment and a punishment of our loved ones by not allowing to experience the simple joy of living.

In other words, what you may be experiencing is so unconsciously driven, that overcoming anxiety related issues can be complicated. However with my guidance and support, you can access your inner parts of yourself and change the way you think and feel so you can enjoy life without low self worth, anger, guilt or shame. 

I believe that, for your therapy to be successful, the most important aspect of the is the quality of the relationship you have with me as your therapist. So l want you to feel comfortable, confident and honest to talk about things which you may not have even talked or even allowed yourself to think about. In the knowledge that what you tell me will be confidential and non judgemental.

Once you are ready, we can begin to explore about the issues you are facing. The first session involves filling paperwork out and allows you to ask questions about the process of the therapy.

During the therapy process your goals may change, which is why l don't rely on a rigid therapeutic structure for anxiety treatment. I tackle whatever is at the forefront of your mind and if there are deep rooted issues beneath the anxiety,  l want to make sure that l treat the whole issue and not just the symptoms- hence take a holistic approach so that your symptoms does not resurface. Sometimes issues can be resolved in 3-4 sessions ( 1hour sessions) other times may take up to 6-8 sessions.

By using a blend of therapy tools from the field of Hypnotherapy, BWRT, Life Coaching, OldPain2Go, Reiki and Mind-Body Medicine , between us, we explore and understand, with the aim of resolving your presenting emotional issue. Plus, in the process provide you with tools and techniques which you can use in your everyday life to increase your emotional resilience to whatever life throws at you.

Admitting vulnerability is not easy to do and exploring the underlying conscious or unconscious causes of anxiety can be overwhelming and challenging to yourself.  During therapy you may experience feeling of anger, hurt, cry or even laugh. There may be times when you want to walk away because it may feel easier to feel anxious than feel good. Remember when you feel this way- you know that you have found your deep underlying root cause of your problem.

Therapy allows and equips you to heal the wounds that are causing your anxiety, stress or misery in life . You can experience immediate relief and feel empowered to take care of yourself, your relationship improves or you feel strong enough to walk away from what is not working,  your work motivation improves and importantly the ones you love will appreciate seeing you live a happier life. 

My motivation and inspiration to branch out into the field of psychotherapy, was a natural progression from my nursing career of 38 years working in the NHS.  More importantly, having worked in a busy emergency department l felt burnout and realised the stress of working such environment for so many years, affected my blood pressure and emotional resilience. Today l wish l had therapy back in my full time nursing days.

Therapy has never been so important as now, with covid-19 exacerbating and creating more stress and anxiety.

On a personal level, while on a course l discover l had denied my 'ancestral trauma' to surface. Finally working through this, l feel empowered and proud of my multi-cultural and multi-continental background.

Due to the covid pandemic regulations, the first consultation would be via Zoom/WhattsApp. Dependant on the therapy used and discussion with client successive sessions can take place either on Zoom or Therapy Room.

Each member of APHP has received thorough training in hypnosis and hypnotherapy, is competent and conscientious, and abides strictly by a code of ethics.

There are four grades of membership: Licentiate (LAPHP), Registered Member (MAPHP), Accredited Member (MAPHP(acc.)) and Fellow (FAPHP), with the different categories standing for different levels of training and experience.

The Association for Professional Hypnosis and Psychotherapy is a member organisation of UKCHO (an umbrella body for the hypnotherapy profession in the United Kingdom).

Mind-body Medicine offers evidence based self awareness, self care and self expression by providing you with techniques you can use daily to help deal with everyday anxiety, stress or emotional trauma.

This powerful therapy involves belly breathing to reduce fears/anxiety and also involves body movement and shaking and you'll find amazing results of tensions releasing and replacing your body with positive energy.

Its fun therapy involving listening and moving to music that can be used by all the family or groups of people. 

This therapy can be used before you go to work or even introduce it into your work place, school or home life.

This amazing therapy is not only fun but can be done one to one or with groups of people.

I am available to see clients Monday to Friday

My working hours are 8am until 6pm

Please text me for availability- since l am commitments working in the NHS 2days a week.
