About me

I practice Solution Focused Brief Therapy which is a powerful combination of psychotherapy and hypnosis.

Each session begins with a period of psychotherapy which is designed to encourage positive thinking, followed by hypnosis which consolidates the positivity.

Psychotherapy is a “talking therapy”. Solution Focused Brief Therapy means that we will not focus on your problems or the reasons why you are feeling a certain way.  Instead I will encourage you to think about how you want things to be rather than how you don’t want them to be.

Once you have a clear, realistic idea of your preferred future, your subconscious will help you to find ways to make that future a reality.

Training, qualifications & experience

I trained at the prestigious Clifton Practice in Bristol, a recognised Centre of Excellence for Hypnotherapy and recognised as the leading Hypnotherapy Clinic in the UK where I gained my HPD (Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma). I am an Executive Member of the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (AfSFH) and a member of the NCH (National Council of Hypnotherapy) and the APHP (Association for Professional Hypnosis and Psychotherapy) and am bound by their Codes of Professional Conduct and Ethics.  I am fully insured and hold Enhanced DBS clearance and have CNHC (Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council) registration.

Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy

The Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (AfSFH) was set up to provide information about a modern form of Hypnotherapy and its associated benefits to members of the public. The main aim of the AfSFH is to spread awareness of the benefits of Solution Focused Hypnotherapy. Its secondary aim is to support Hypnotherapists in their businesses by encouraging good practice and self-care.

Information about health conditions (*)

Nutritional therapy can help enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting nutritional therapy or making any major changes to your diet or lifestyle.

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a hypnotherapist's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the hypnotherapist to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
