What are the benefits of Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy is a useful to help reach the emotional or subconscious mind. This is the part where we hold our feelings, as opposed to the conscious mind, the realm of thought. When it comes to issues such as Anxiety, Stress, Habits, and Unhelpful Beliefs, it is the Feeling mind that needs to be engaged in therapy. Our feelings are linked with our emotions, so this is where we can bring about powerful changes. Therapy in the hypnotic state is all about reframing our beliefs, feelings we hold about ourselves, usually stemming from childhood. Sometimes, it is just too difficult to think differently, this is because we need to feel differently first, and then the thought process adapts to the feelings.
We can understand on an intellectual level that our reactions to situations are unhelpful, that we have wrong beliefs about ourselves, that our relationships to others are causing problems. However, trying to shift our way of thinking is very difficult because our subconscious are stuck in old patterns of beliefs and behaviors. Therefore, therapy is best carried out in trance, where we can go straight to that part of our minds. This makes for fast-changing and less resistance to change.
How does Hypnotherapy help me?
Hypnotherapy helps by using a variety of therapeutic techniques. As therapists, it is essential to lay the foundations for trust and a good rapport, so that you as a client can feel comfortable to open up and have trust in your therapist. Analysis is required for deep-seated anxiety. This involves regression and delving into past painful situations. You will get a sense of tremendous release during this process as painful emotions are released. Other techniques are used, depending on each individual. By the end of your therapy, you will find that things made you feel stressed or anxious before, somehow just don't trouble you so much. You stop focusing or using up unnecessary energy on negative rumination and spend more time with positive thoughts and emotions.
How many sessions will I need?
As a therapist, I have a duty of care to get you through therapy as soon as possible. Duration can be from 6 to 8 sessions on average. It depends on how much 'stuff' you have stored in your subconscious.

I have been studying Hypnotherapy for nine years. I have completed a Degree in Clinical Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy. I am fully insured. I am committed to continuous Supervision and Professional Development. I am at present, studying for a Masters in Clinical Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy.
i am trained to use a variety of different techniques, as follows - Past Life Regression, Age Regression, Neuro-Linguistic Programming to bring about powerful, positive changes, Enhanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychotherapy, Parts Therapy, Gestalt Therapy.

What Should I expect during my first Session?
During the first session, we explore how you are feeling today, what is causing you problems. As it is your feelings that are creating the problem, we link and connect your feeling to an earlier memory. We then explore Cause and Effects. This means that what you are experiencing today is connected with a cause which was created in the past. Once the link is made, we work on getting your subconscious mind to see things in a more objective manner. This helps you to desensitise from the painful memories and situations. Once this is done, the past no longer controls you. We also use Cognitive Behavioural and Neuro-Linguistic Programming techniques to help the mind to view things in a more positive light and to release emotional imprints that are holding you back.
How Will I Know if it's Working?
You will feel differently in situations. You will realize that what bothered you in the past, you can now deal with equanimity and calm. You will feel lighter, more relaxed, not so bothered. You will feel your emotions are within your control. People around you will notice that something has changed.
