I work to help people overcome anxiety in all its guises. Experience has taught me that anxiety is at the heart of many problems. It’s important to me that no-one is left standing on the sidelines, being an observer of life rather than part of it. I don't want anyone including you thinking they could achieve what they see others achieving but fear trying.
I love helping clients and enabling them to overcome their fears, anxiety and self-doubt. It's wonderful when a client's world changes for them and they start to live the life they were meant to and doing the things they want to do.

You may be wondering how many sessions we will see each other for? Hypnotherapy is a brief therapy. The complexity of your issues may be a factor, but clients can make rapid progress.
What’s important is that you work at your own pace. To give you some guidance, if I look back over my records for the most recent 6 months of my practice, most clients who have completed their work with me have taken between 3 and 6 sessions to achieve their goals.
You only invest in a session at a time, that way you don’t pay more than you need to.

Training, qualifications & experience
I first came across Hypnotherapy as a client over 15 years ago. Like many people, my discovery of the effectiveness of hypnotherapy started with a word-of-mouth recommendation through a friend. Taking that friend's advice and visiting the therapist they recommended was one of the best decisions I ever made.
My interest in the subject grew and I subsequently trained at Postgraduate level with the University of West London via the London College of Clinical Hypnosis (LCCH). I chose this course as when I was asking other therapists for recommendations, the LCCH was mentioned time and time again.
I am a member of the professional bodies BSCH (British Society of Clinical Hypnosis) and the CNCH (Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council) and am an Anxiety UK Approved Therapist.
I undertake regular additional training to ensure I keep up to date with the advances in my profession. For me this has included specialist training in Treating Trauma and the use of EMDR (Eye Movement De-sensitisation and Re-processing) which is a form of trauma treatment.
