About me

I have always been a people person. Even at school, I was nominated to look after the new pupil. Providing great service and helping people has always been important to me.

Over the last ten years or so, I have been interested in alternative therapies and treatment and found myself attracted to hypnotherapy specifically. I studied the subject for a long time and became fully qualified and accredited.

I provide a service that goes beyond just the "session" I provide text support, free consultations and an after care service. The positive results are important to me and its key that we work together to solve the issues at hand.

I did not set out to be a specialist in any given issue but due mainly to referrals, I seem to be gaining most experience helping clients with anxiety, stress, panic attacks and depression related problems. I also successfully help clients that have phobias and addictions too.

My sessions are not time restricted as I only accept four clients each day. You leave my studio when you are happy to do so. The results of the therapy are important to me, failure is not an option, you will notice a change in yourself after our sessions are completed.

Please remember the initial confidential consultation is free of charge.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am delighted to confirm that I am fully registered with The General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR), The Complementary Medical Association (CMA) and The Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).

I am always looking to further my experience and have also recently completed a course which helps me to understand clients with Autism better and also a course dealing with deeper depression issues.

I am proud to be the Hypnotherapist at St. Leonard's Hospice and a preferred therapist for Anxiety UK.

Member organisations

Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council

The CNHC encompasses many types of alternative therapy, including hypnotherapy.

In order to be admitted to the register a practitioner must have studied to the National Occupational Standards for that profession/discipline, or have reached the equivalent of the National Occupational Standards through other relevant training or at least three years of experience and been assessed by their peers.

A practitioner must also have professional insurance and agree to abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.

The General Hypnotherapy Register

Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).

Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.

All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.

Information about health conditions (*)

Hypnotherapy can enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting hypnotherapy.

Key details

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a Hypnotherapist's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the Hypnotherapist to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.

I have a large car park, reception area, lounge and full disabled access with toilet facilities.
