About me

Hello, my name is Dr David Postlethwaite I have been practicing Hypnotherapy for almost 30 years. I offer an affordable service from my consulting rooms in Gateshead and home visits across the Tyne and Wear area.

I believe that most issues can be successfully dealt with in one session of Hypnotherapy.
I try my very best to keep my charges to a level that most can afford. I am very saddened when I see a growing number of Hypnotherapists claiming that multiple sessions are needed to deal with sometimes the simplest of issue. Next year will be my 30th year in practice, when I first started it was considered rare for anyone to ever need more than one session of Hypnotherapy. Today for some reason the more significant majority of the new therapists seem to believe that many sessions are required. I am left puzzling is it because they do not have faith in Hypnotherapy, or do they not believe in their competency or perhaps it is about extracting as much money as possible from their clients. Unfortunately, if an expert tells you that you need more than one session, then it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Let me categorically state here, and now, ONLY ONE SESSION IS NEEDED.

I have worked not only in the UK but across the Middle East, Malaysia, Ukraine and Africa.

I deal with a whole range of issues including Quitting Smoking, Weight Control, Fears and Phobias, Sexual Issues, Stress, Anxiety, Depression and much more. Please feel free to contact me for a confidential talk.

I believe in complete transparency, therefore my charges are clear if you visit me in Gateshead the cost of your session will be £95 this price will include a backup session on USB that you take away for your own use. If you require a visit in your own home the cost will depend upon your distance from me.
