About me

I'm happy to offer you a discreet and friendly service at my office based near The Lowry, BBC and ITV at Salford Quays. My name is Costa Lambrias and I am the Principal of the Academy of Holistic Hypnotherapy and co-founder and current Secretary in 1997 of the UK's Hypnotherapy Association. Having qualified as a clinical hypnotherapist in 1990, it has been my pleasure to assist the vast majority of my clients to overcome challenges, resolve deep rooted issues, perform better in every type of scenario and situation, and to therefore enjoy living a better life! As the UK pioneer of inner child therapy in the 1990s, I was awarded the accolade one of the 10 leading hypnotherapists in Britain by the Independent on Sunday (23.03.03).

Inner Child therapy is a very powerful therapy utilising Hypnotherapy and Cognitive Analysis to reverse negative conditioning, etc and heal the client’s childhood permanently in less than a dozen sessions. It is perfect for survivors of Abuse and those sufferers of chronic low self-esteem. With increased self-esteem and love for oneself, recipients of this therapy are able to attract more positive relationships and outcomes into their life as they now feel worthy of enjoying all the good things in life. I have been fortunate to present at Conferences around the world and to teach my inner child therapy, my Time Line Realignment™ process, and also Soul Retrieval therapy to thousands of other hypno- and psycho-therapists around the UK and as far abroad as Australia and New Zealand.

As the UK’s Self-Esteem Doctor® my philosophy is simple: once health and basic needs are met, the quality of your life, and your enjoyment of everything you have in your life, is governed by your level of self-esteem. Whether you are seeking security and parity in your relationships and a release from self-doubts and negative conditioning, or looking to improve what you already do well, there is now no longer a reason to let a lack of self-belief hold you back in your personal or professional life when these issues can be resolved so easily!

Apart from this specialism, I also enjoy great success assisting clients to resolve all manner of addictions, unwanted habits, phobias and psychosomatic conditions. I am passionate about the birthright of all of us to enjoy Life, which is why I am passionate about utilising Holistic hypnotherapy to help you to do that. Please contact me for more information or with any queries.

In 1997 Costa co-founded the Hypnotherapy Association, the UK’s largest independent organisation for professional hypnotherapists with over 400 members. In the UK there is no legislation to control hypnotherapy. This unfortunately means that, similarly to other professions, there is a proliferation of untrained or poorly trained so-called hypnotherapists who offer hypnotherapy with little or no skills or experience. The HA’s stringent criteria for members and their minimum standards for accreditation of training schools ensure a safe, ethical and professional experience for the paying public, whether as clients or students of hypnotherapy. Costa is a former Chairman and Professional Standards Officer of the HA and serves on the management committee as its current Secretary.

Did you know?...

Hypnotherapy is ideal for all Performance situations requiring confidence, whether on stage, socially, sexually or in Sports or Sales. I have been able to help many actors, singers, musicians and songwriters, athletes, boxers, golfers and footballers improve their performance, in addition to hundreds of clients who would feel anxious or blush whenever they found themselves the focus of attention, socially or at work.

I also work with companies to increase Performance levels in staff - this can vary from social workers to Sales (e.g. Recruitment). It's a small investment when the payoffs in increased performance, loyalty and attendance are taken into account. Ask about my Inspiration, Motivation & Success workshops.
