About me

I understand how difficult life can be at times! Indeed, having experienced my own challenges during my life I can really empathise and help with a varied range of issues you may be facing. Many people go through life suffering conditions such as anxieties, fears and phobias. I mean the list is endless. Feeling helpless and getting to a point where you feel like you are just existing but the reality is you don’t have to struggle for the rest of your life.

I have been very successful in helping people quit smoking in only a single session; to lose weight easily with the gastric band therapy programme, in establishing healthy lifestyles and long-lasting changes and in establishing new and innovative breakthrough solutions to help individuals overcome various embedded personal traumas and issues.

Training, qualifications & experience

As an Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapist I utilise powerful hypnosis techniques such as Time Line Therapy, Rewind Techniques for clients who suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Inner Child Therapy, Regression techniques to root cause and Gestalt Therapy. Therefore the number of sessions required are minimal. Many issues can be resolved in anywhere between 1-5 sessions.

As a registered member of the GHR (General Hypnotherapy Register) I'm a validated practitioner under the GHSC (General Hypnotherapy Standards Council) I am committed to providing the highest standard of care. I'm also a qualified Mental Health First Aider.

Member organisations

The General Hypnotherapy Register

Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).

Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.

All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.

Areas of hypnotherapy I deal with

If you have been diagnosed or suspect you may have one of the medical conditions starred above, you should consult your GP for advice, diagnosis and treatment and always inform your health professional before starting any alternative or additional therapies or treatments.

Wheelchair-accessible premises

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a hypnotherapist's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the hypnotherapist to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.

I offer home visits in exceptional circumstances with mileage costs added on.
