About me

The model of Hypnotherapy that I work with is Cognitive-Behavioural Hypnotherapy. This means that I work with you to identify how your thoughts and feelings might be affecting your life, and look to form personalised goals and strategies to implement through the process of therapy to help you make positive gains in those areas. Hypnotherapy can be used to deepen and solidify those new, positive strategies and actions.

You are always awake and in control during Hypnotherapy. It is simply a deeper, more focused state of attention and awareness.

Hypnotherapy can help with many issues, including phobias, goal setting, confidence, alcohol abuse, smoking, weight management, anxiety, habit breaking, stress, motivation, concentration, relaxation, pain, insomnia, and more.

Imagine your ‘ideal self’?

What does that look like?

We are what we think. Your imagination is a powerful tool, and Hypnotherapy will help you make strides towards living more authentically and effectively.

I am also a qualified and accredited Counsellor. I work in an integrative way, which means that all of my skills, training and experience are utilised during therapy.

Member organisations

The General Hypnotherapy Register

Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).

Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.

All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.
