About me

Hi, I'm Chris, a fully trained, qualified Hypnotherapist using hypnosis techniques to help bring about lasting, positive changes in a person’s life.

I have vast experience in helping clients with a number of issues. In particular I have helped where deep-seated emotional issues have been holding clients back from "doing what they want to."

I am particularly interested in helping people with BFRB's.

Whatever the reason is that you are seeking my help, you can be assured that the recommendations I make will be bespoke to you for maximum benefit, as you deserve and will receive individual attention for your specific reasons so that you can be in control of your life.

If you feel there are areas in your life that you would like to have more control over, please call or email to arrange a free, no-obligation phone call. This is so that you can tell me what it is you want to get from working together. I will then suggest a plan there and then, and if you want to continue we can get started on resolving your particular issue(s).

I listen intently to what you have you say and will never judge you, so please do get in touch.

Training, qualifications & experience

  • Hypnotherapy Diploma, Andrew Parr Training Ltd
  • Practitioner member of the General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR)

Before studying hypnotherapy, I had 20+ years’ experience of getting the best out of people in the commercial world. This lead me on to seek more information on “what makes people tick” and how I could first help myself gain control over what I saw as the things that were holding me back, before being able to help others regain control over their lives, using my own experiences.

Everything is confidential and I adhere to the General Hypnotherapy Register code of practice.

Member organisations

The General Hypnotherapy Register

Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).

Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.

All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.

Further information

"The whole experience has helped me to tackle individual parts of my life that I wanted to change. Before our sessions, I didn't know how to move forward. I would highly recommend working with Chris. The problems I used to have don't seem to be there anymore because I have taken steps to help myself. Some sessions were very powerful and if you truly want to help yourself this is for you. One fear, for example, I would avoid reading for years because I have dyslexia, so didn't want to be anywhere near words. Since working with Chris I have read 3 books and just started a new one. This has changed my life." Jade.

"Never having had Hypnotherapy before I was unsure what to expect, but Chris quickly put me at my ease, explaining the process clearly and letting me know what to expect. After the first session, I was amazed at how quickly it worked and I only needed one other follow up session. Chris has a kind and non-judgemental manner and I felt he really understood me and my issue. I would highly recommend Chris and can’t sing his praises high enough”. Ash.
