About me

Currently I work from my home in Ely .My aim is to offer a safe, private and comfortable space where you can feel able to talk freely about any issue which may be troubling you. You will be listened to without judgement  and together we can discuss the best way forward.

Before embarking on a course of treatment, I will explain any interventions that I think may be useful and will suggest a time frame for this treatment. At the end of this course of treatment we shall review progress and discuss whether and how to proceed with any further treatment.

In addition to my hypnotherapy and NLP training, I am an experience, qualified and UKCP registered psychotherapist.

I help people with a broad range of conditions including:

                                                                                  Anxiety/ Stress
                                                                                  Fears and Phobias
                                                                                  Low self-esteem
                                                                                  Obsessive Compulsive Disorders
                                                                                  Unwanted Habits/Behaviours.

I regularly update my expertise and knowledge through continuing professional development.

In conjunction with hypnotherapy, I use a broad range of approaches,  including Parts Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

In some instances, where appropriate, creative imagery involving drawing or other art media may be used.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a Certificate in Cognitive Hypnotherapy and NLP and NLP Practitioner Certificate from the Contemporary College  of Therapeutic Studies. I also hold a Masters Degree in Integrative Arts Psychotherapy from the Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education.

I am registered as a psychotherapist with the UKCP, and I have worked from home as an independent practitioner for 6 years.

My experience includes working with:

  • Students in Higher and Further Education
  • Patients in primary care
  • Young people in a charitable organisation
  • Mental health service users

The General Hypnotherapy Register

Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).

Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.

All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.

Information about health conditions (*)

Nutritional therapy can help enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting nutritional therapy or making any major changes to your diet or lifestyle.

I charge £60 for the initial session which lasts 1 hour and 30 minutes. During this time I shall take a complete personal history, which will enable us to identify and discuss any factors which may have contributed to the issue you are seeking to address.

Sessions thereafter will last 1hour and the fee will be £50.

Also registered with Counselling Directory.

You can contact the hypnotherapist to discuss the options available.
