Further information
Dr Christine Fiddler PhD, Psychotherapy offers a service specifically tailored for children and young people aged 8 years plus. She has a clear Enhanced DBS.
Hypnotherapy with children and young people is about making the child and their parent feel at ease with the main focus of attention being on the child. The child is always seen as an individual, a person in their own right and certainly not in terms of a label or a condition. Behaviour is also not seen as bad or naughty but as an expression of their emotions. We aim for the child to have an enjoyable experience, hypnotherapy with a child, is fun, it's taking them on an imaginary journey to bring about positive changes.
The idea is to work alongside the parent and the child to change what they are doing and motivate them to use self help techniques at home alongside the individually tailored therapy we offer. This, in a few sessions aims to bring about agreed lasting change. Contact Dr Christine Fiddler PhD now to discuss how she can help.
