About me

Is it time to bring some self-compassion, acceptance and kindness into your life?

Hello, I’m Charlotte Ameigh, I’m a Yorkshire based therapist incorporating techniques in hypnotherapy, CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) and NLP (neuro linguistic programming). I support people wanting to bring positive change into their lives.

I follow a ‘person-centred’ approach to therapy, which is based on three core concepts: that as your therapist I am genuine, non-judgemental and empathetic. These qualities underpin my practice and every client session interaction. I see my role as simply providing you with a safe and positive space to grow and develop.

I believe talking therapies alongside hypnotherapy are such a powerful solution to many of the issues holding us back in our lives. Plus, results can be quick. Whether it’s a fear or phobia, low confidence or self-esteem, anxiety, depression, sleep problems or chronic pain. Therapy can help you find a way through.

Further information

Can online hypnotherapy work as well as face to face?
Absolutely. Even before lockdown I had clients who opted for online hypnotherapy because they feel more comfortable in their own environment, not having to use precious energy or time battling traffic or considering what to wear.                       All you need to do is grab a cup of tea and you can turn up in your pyjamas if you like! You just need to find somewhere comfy to rest, where your head can be fully supported. Ideally a place where you won't be disturbed. Sessions are currently conducted via Zoom or telephone due to Covid 19 and lockdown restrictions.
