About me
Who I work with
My name is Catherine and I am based in Lincoln. I am a qualified Solution Focused Hypnotherapist/psychotherapist. I help you find the solutions to your concerns for stress, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, phobias, weight management and smoking cessation and more
I specialise in working with people living with dementia, whether that is the person who has been diagnosed or those loved ones and friends who find themselves caring for their loved ones. I have worked and trained with people living with dementia and I also have personal experience as my Mum was diagnosed a number of years ago.
I also do talks to groups of people who work in a team or group that would benefit from understanding how they can help themselves to become the best version of themselves by understanding how they can take control of their brain, and thoughts that will help them get back onto a clear pathway to ensure they live a happy and fulfilled life.

I have worked with people all my working life, from working in care homes, hospitals and with homelessness in Lincolnshire. I decided that I wanted to continue working with people who needed support to help themselves find their full potential and become better able to cope with stresses, anxiety, anger management and most of all to like and trust in themselves and their thoughts.

Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (AfSFH)
The Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (AfSFH) was set up to provide information about a modern form of Hypnotherapy and its associated benefits to members of the public. The main aim of the AfSFH is to spread awareness of the benefits of Solution Focused Hypnotherapy. Its secondary aim is to support Hypnotherapists in their businesses by encouraging good practice and self-care.
Areas of hypnotherapy I deal with
Information about health conditions (*)
Hypnotherapy can enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting hypnotherapy.

Other Areas I Have Trained In
Between working with homelessness and hypnotherapy I trained as a massage and beauty therapist and ran my own business in this area for eleven years. I enjoyed working in this area but wanted to know more about how the brain worked when massaging someone as the person often stated that they felt better physically and mentally. This led me to train as a hypnotherapist, which certainly explained this to me.
