About me

At your consultation which is free, lasting 60/90 minutes,  I will also offer a complimentary relaxing introductory hypnotherapy treatment. This gives you the opportunity to meet me and to find out whether hypnotherapy is something you feel you will be comfortable with, prior to committing to any payments or appointments. It is understandable to feel a little nervous at the consultation and my clients find this opportunity to experience hypnotherapy both reassuring and relaxing.

Most of my clients find that after that initial appointment they feel happier and more confident that they are on the way to greater peace of mind, or whatever their aim is. I will explain clearly to you the way I would expect our sessions to proceed and answer any queries or concerns you have. My life and client experience means I have come across a really wide range of issues, problems and people. I am told I am very easy to talk to. I will listen to you and give you the help and support you need and deserve.

I am also a trained counsellor, this means, that as well as using hypnotherapy to treat your sub conscious difficulties , I can use my counselling skills to give you conscious understanding and "tools" to help your problems as well. This is particularly useful with anxiety. My hypnotherapy scripts will be written specifically for you.

I have had success in a broad range of issues and can help with all sorts of problems and difficulties . My specialisations however are food addictions, weight loss, depression, anxiety, panic attacks and loss of confidence. Bereavement and loss often underlay my clients problems.  I am pleased to say i am now able to add Hypno Birthing to the list of treatments I provide.

I also provide hypnotherapy purely for calming and relaxation purposes, helping to deal with the everyday stresses of life.

You will be treated with respect, confidentially and as an individual.

I can help you understand why you feel the way you do and take the power of the root causes away for you. You will find you can move on, with a new self esteem, confidence and peace of mind. Fears and phobias, comfort eating, and the influence of childhood or bad experience truly become a thing of the past. My clients problems have also included anger, attending job interviews, social worries, relationship problems, making presentations, fear of the dentist, fear of water/swimming/spiders and many more.
If like a lot of my clients you find a few biscuits leads to a packet , one chocolate bar is not enough, or pizza and crisps are impossible to resist, my sessions will take away the hold and control food has over you.

As well as being a Professional member of the Hypnotherapy Society,   I am also an accredited member of the National Counselling Society. So my clients benefit from hypnotherapy or a combination of hypnotherapy and counselling, whichever will work best for them.
