About me

Hi there.

If you're looking for help and support, you have definitely come to the right place.
I am an experienced Clinical Hypnotherapist, NLP Practitioner and Counsellor for all ages - Adults and Children of all ages, genders & cultures. Offering you a totally secure space in Brighton or Etchingham (East Sussex). I am also fully trained, registered and insured.

I work in an integrative person-centred way with the addition (where appropriate) I may also use Mindfulness techniques, CBT, Psychodynamic theory and NLP coaching techniques to offer an excellent broad and effective package tailor-made to for you and what you want to work with, helping you also to enhance your self-awareness & personal growth, make the changes you are looking for, support you fully and importantly build up your resilience to stress or tough times so that moving forward you learn ways that you cope best and manage life challenges with increasing ease.

Many of my client's have problems with anxiety either foremost or underpinning their current life. Depression is another key issue and often both Anxiety and Depression can be mixed together. Other clients have habits or fears they want to deal with, of physical issues.

10% price reductions for low-income clients.

Carmen works from a Brighton clinic near the Old Steine and Etchingham, East Sussex (on the Kent/Sussex border). She also offers a home-visiting service for those with mobility problems.

Clinical Hypnotherapy tackles a broad range of medical and social conditions for the client, through relaxation and suggestion techniques to ease you into a trance (a state of awake but relaxed concentration) so that after the session you can feel more relaxed that you've felt in many years and ready and able to make wished for changes in your life easily.   Be totally reassured - this is NOT stage hypnosis! We enter trance naturally in our everyday lives, such as when day-dreaming on a long drive, or focussing on something interesting. We remain in control and awake throughout.

Clinical Hypnotherapy is commonly sought to increase confidence, aid weight management, anxiety and stress related problems, smoking cessation, habit and fear changes, sleep problems, low mood, IBS, stammering, phobias, school & study anxieties, public speaking, pain management, performance (such as exam study / driving test / sports achievement), recovery from injury or illness, tinnitus and much much more. It can help release creativity and study power.

If you have any questions about hypnotherapy and NLP and it's suitability for you or your condition, please do not hesitate to get in touch. You can send an email using the contact form (above) or phone 07941 646555.

I look forward to hearing from you in the first step of your journey to "better".
