People work with me because they are looking for change, either with a problem that they are experiencing or for an improvement in performance in an area of their life.
I work a lot with people on reducing anxiety.
I use a predominantly solution based approach that whilst looking at past events and unhooking any negative pull they may have on your current state of mind, has a strong focus on building up my clients belief in themselves and working with their unconscious identity statements and sense of self.
I encourage my clients to play an active role in facilitating their change and often give them tasks to do in between sessions.

Cognitive Hypnotherapy is a modern approach to a powerful means of helping people. It blends recent understanding of how the brain works from Behavioural Psychology and Neuroscience with Traditional Hypnotherapy, Gestalt, Neuro-Linguistic Programming and other practical techniques, weaving them into an approach that can achieve amazing results in a short space of time.
Cognitive Hypnotherapy takes a completely bespoke approach allowing me to help a wide range of clients to more of the things that they want in life and less of the things they don't.
In September 2015 the pilot study was published in the Mental Health Review Journal. It recorded that, using 118 cases measuring the effectiveness of Cognitive Hypnotherapy for the treatment of depression and anxiety, 71% considered themselves recovered after an average of 4 sessions. This compared to an average of 42% for other approaches using the same measures (like CBT).
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a fully qualified Cognitive Hypnotherapist and Master Practitioner of NLP and trained at the Internationally renowned Quest Institute in Regents University London.
I am trained in the Metaphors of Movement model of working and Eye Movement integration and use both regularly in my work.
Before I began working as a hypnotherapist I had a background working as an actor, director and educator where I specialised in working 1-2-1 with adults and young people with behavioural problems, learning difficulties and on performance.
I have a long history of working with people to identify how their patterns of thinking affect their behaviour and helping them to change.

There is no charge for the initial consultation which takes around 45 minutes.
Sessions last between 90 - 120 minutes and cost £150.
A bespoke hypnotherapy mp3 is included in this fee.
Due to the nature of the work I usually see people every 2-3 weeks rather than weekly for an average of 4-6 session but it is all individual.
