Welcome to my profile.
Given below is a brief summary of my background, how I can help you and what you can expect from me as a Hypnotherapist and my approach to how I work.
A Little About Me
Like many people I have travelled various paths, and with over 40 years of work experience, I have tapped into many disciplines ranging from various office positions, including work within Social Services and the NHS, changing track to become a Fitness Trainer, Complementary Health Therapist and Yoga Teacher.
I feel it can be said life is about what we experience and perhaps how we experience it, and for some, there is growth leading to evolvement.
My evolvement has led me to the areas of Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapeutic Counselling.
How Hypnotherapy Can Help You
Hypnotherapy is a safe, effective and non-invasive therapy which will enable you to maximise your potential and increase motivation thereby allowing you to live life more fully, happier and content as you overcome any difficulties or impediments that may be holding you back.
Do you want to learn to relax, reduce stress and anxiety, build confidence and self-esteem, or take control of your weight, eating habits, overcome fears, phobias and panic attacks, break unwanted habits, or simply wish to eliminate nerves, then try Hypnotherapy
Hypnosis is a state of mind brought about by a set of techniques. It enhances an individual’s concentration and increases responsiveness to suggestion in order to make the beneficial changes that an individual may wish to make in their thought patterns or their psychological state
As a caring, approachable therapist who respects whatever issue, however small, may be troubling you, I will give you the respect and attention you need to resolve your concern as quickly as possible whether it is of a psychological, emotional or physical nature.
Sessions are individually designed and offered in a safe, calm and tranquil setting within an environment which is confidential and non-judgemental.
Have the courage, determination and will to become the person you believe you are meant to be… rather than a bad interpretation of someone else
What To Expect In Your First Session
After initially contacting me, to engage in Hypnotherapy there would first be an in-depth telephone conversation, during which we would agree to meet for an introduction and initial consultation. Making contact in this way helps to ascertain the suitability that we are able to work together.
At your first session, and after any introductions, I will complete my consultation forms, agree a number of sessions with you and if time allows, begin taking things further.
I hope you find this information helpful.
What Happens Next
Be motivated and believe you can make change to become the person you are meant to be....… take your first step(s) today by calling me, dropping me an email, or visit my website for further information.
After all, Oscar Wilde said "be yourself, everyone else is taken!”
or according to Warren Mitchell.....
"I knew that I did not have to buy into society's notion that I had to be handsome and healthy to be happy. I was in charge of my ''spaceship'' and it was my up, my down. I could choose to see this situation as a setback or as a starting point. I chose to begin life again."
