At the initial free consultation, we discuss options and prices to ensure that the therapy is both successful and affordable for you.
Based in Whetstone, North London, my practice is easily accessed by public transport. There is ample parking and good connections with buses and with Totteridge and Whetstone and Arnos Grove tube, as well as Oakleigh Park Stations.
I offer daytime and evening appointments, (not at weekends).

Training, qualifications & experience
I have been working with people for over 30 years, as a social worker, manager and therapist.
I have a BA(Hons) in Applied Social Science and a Certificate of Qualification in Social Work (CQSW). I have qualifications in Group Work, Family Therapy and have worked as a social worker with families, couples, young and old, disabled and those with mental health problems.
I have a Post Graduate Certificate in Management (PGCM) from the University of Hertfordshire and have managed multidisciplinary teams in local government.
I have obtained the City and Guilds PTTLS (Preparation to Teach in the Life Long Learning Sector) Qualification.
I am a graduate of The Essex Institute studying clinical hypnotherapy and hypnoanalysis with Terence Watts, (author of 'Warriors, Settlers and Nomads' as well as many other publications.) I am a member of The Association for Professional Hypnosis and Psychotherapy (APHP). The APHP is a member organisation of CNHC (Complementary and Natural Health Care Council), an umbrella body for complementary therapies in the UK. My qualification is also recognised by The Hypnotherapy Association. I have regular professional supervision and I have full professional insurance.
I have specialist training in hypnotherapy with children, (DBS cert. No. 001443150056), people with Irritable Bowel Disease, CBT and Eating Disorders, Tinnitus and Chronic Illness. I favour Dr J Pearson's acclaimed 'The WHY (Weight, Hypnotherapy and You) for a Weight Reduction Programme. I have an ongoing interest in scientific and evidence based practice.

I have held my fees to £60 per session for some years now. It is more important to me that your therapy is affordable and therefore I will offer concessions.
Smoking Cessation is conducted in a single, two hour session and is £175
I always teach my clients self hypnosis. Used well, this tool is a lifetime skill, not only allowing for deep and refreshing relaxation but also allowing you to make significant changes for yourself.
For diagnosed medical conditions that are being treated by a medical practitoner, I shall need your permission to liase with your Doctor.
