I was born in Chorley and have live most of my life in this traditional Lancashire market town, a true Lancastrian. I left work at 15, and went straight to work at the local supermarket I started on the checkouts and but soon progressed to achieve managerial status in 1981.
In 1996, after the birth of my daughter, I was awarded a Diploma in Business Administration at Runshaw College, Leyland.
Over the next 14 years I worked in the accounts department for a removal company and also ran a satellite office in Burscough.
In 2010 I joined the team at the Chorley Clinic where I am currently the Office Manager. It is here that I met Cathy and watching her successes over the years, I decided that I would like to train as a Clinical Hypnotherapist.
I began my training I began my training at the prestigious Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy Training School in Leeds in 2017. I qualified as a Clinical Hypnotherapist with my Diploma in Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy (DSFH).
I qualified in 2018 with the Hypnotherapy Practitioners Diploma (HPD) by the National Council for Hypnotherapy. The HPD is considered the ‘Gold Standard’ in Hypnotherapy Training.
I have a wonderful Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Molly. I also have several interests including a keen interest in growing vegetables and regularly tend my allotment. I am an avid film fan and don’t miss an opportunity to visit the local cinema. I also never miss an opportunity to bake a cake for a friends birthday. Recently my time is taken up in helping my daughter with hypno-birthing in anticipation of my very first grandchild. Super excited.
