Dr Andrew Hart Dip. Clinical Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy
Belle Isle Road
If you’re looking for a hypnotherapist do you want someone with in-depth understanding of the mind and human behaviour?
I have studied and taught psychology for over twenty years (I am a Chartered Psychologist) and my PhD research was in consciousness and the relationship between mind and body.
In addition to my academic qualifications in psychology I hold a Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy, and am an Accredited Practitioner with the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council as well as the Central Register of Stop Smoking Therapists.
That might all sound very serious but I am not here to blind you with science. I am here to listen to what you would like help with and then put my knowledge and experience to work so that you can make positive changes in your life.
Based in a tranquil and relaxing setting in Haworth, I offer a confidential and professional service.
I have worked successfully with a range of issues where people feel a lack of control over their own thoughts or actions and I specialise in:
· Stopping smoking
· Conquering fears and phobias
· Stress relief
Hypnotherapy can be very effective but as a responsible and ethical practitioner I recognise that it is not suitable for every individual or every issue. Once you make contact with me we can discuss what you would like to get from hypnotherapy. Part of the first session is spent discussing the issue so that the therapy can be tailored to your needs.
If you feel that it’s time to make a change in your life and hypnotherapy can help you, then please get in touch.

My standard charge is £65 per session.
Smoking cessation: £199 (usually three sessions).
It is generally agreed that hypnotherapy is most effective when it takes into account the individual’s particular needs and goals. As a result, the number of sessions needed will vary.
We discuss the number of sessions and other details during our initial consultation. I am bound by my ethical code to avoid exploiting clients for financial gain or to prolong treatment unnecessarily.
