About me

I can help you overcome anxiety and let go of your addiction. I can help you heal from past trauma, so that you can go on to create the life you want for yourself. Change is possible, and easier than you can imagine right now.

It's not just about alcohol and drugs though... Some of the other ways you might cope with negative feelings is to try and avoid them through using compulsive behaviours like picking, nail biting, hair pulling. Or you might withdraw from life as much as you can and your world gets smaller and smaller.

It doesn't have to be like that. I believe that you already have all the skills you need to navigate your life in the way you want; to make the choices that are right for you; to be the person you really want to be.

I will help you find the strength that lies within you, so that you can make the changes you want to see, in the way that feels right and natural for you.

Training, qualifications & experience

I trained to Master Practitioner level in Cognitive Hypnotherapy and NLP at The Quest Institute in London and I have a certificate in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Regents University.   I am trained in the use of EFT and AMDR. I have taken additional training in working with trauma, in working with addiction, in the Simmonds Method for working with smoking, and in mindfulness for anxiety. Before training to become a therapist I worked successfully as an artist manager in the music industry.

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a hypnotherapist's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the hypnotherapist to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
