I am a private practitioner of Hypnotherapy (Female). I trained and qualified for my diploma DHyp at The International College of Clinical Hypnotherapy (ICCHP), where I have also been trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. I have been practicing since 2013, successfully helping people with a variety of presenting symptoms, including stress, weight management, exam anxiety, performance anxiety and unwanted habits. With my extensive experience in the field of education, I also have track record of successfully helping teenagers with age-related and school-related difficulties. I am a researcher taking part in a study registered with KCL titled ‘The effect of Mindfulness Practice on Stress Levels in Senior High School Students’.
Hypnotherapy is a meaningful tool for change and for learning. It is a process through which you will learn about yourself, you will identify your unhelpful beliefs and behaviours and will be able to change them, if you choose to do so. You will also learn about your strength and learn to harness them to your success and well-being. You will learn to let go of unnecessary behaviours and uncloud your thinking and your emotions.
You are welcome to try a first 40 minute session, free of charge.
Training, qualifications & experience
I obtained my professional qualification (DPHyp) in 2013 with the International College of Clinical Hypnotherapy (ICCHP). I am registered with the General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR) and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) and abide by their code of conduct.
I am also a Mindful-Wellbeing practitioner, helping people live their lives in a healthier, satisfying way that they ish for.
I hold Mindful- Wellbeing workshops at schools, helping students manage stress levels as part of their exam preparation. Empowering them to be in charge of their overall well-being.
I also hold tailor-made Stress Management workshops at corporate settings for busy and often overworked executives, helping them find the way to the work/life balance they desire.
I am a researcher, delivering practical sessions and assessing ‘The effect of Mindfulness Practice on Stress Levels in Senior High School Students’.
The General Hypnotherapy Register
Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).
Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.
All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.
