About me
Hi, my name is Amanda and I am a qualified Solution Focused Hypnotherapist.
I am passionate about the benefits of hypnotherapy and positive talking therapy to bring about change in your life, enabling you to move forward in a positive way. I have an extensive teaching background and currently work with children, teens and adult clients.
With a background in Education (currently a Primary Teacher) spanning nearly 20 years, I know I am able to utilise my well-honed skills of empathy, patience and providing support to enhance my clinical practice.
Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is a powerful therapy which has its basis on the belief that if you are content and achieving in your life you are better able to process emotions and events naturally.
Solution Focused therapy allows you too always feel a sense of achievement for your forward movement rather than keeping you held in the problem, It also helps you to identify what has gone well and the resources you already have access to, within you. When working this way, you are empowered to resolve your own problems, not just during sessions but well into the future.
