About me

I'm Alison - a qualified clinical Hypnotherapist, NLP practitioner/Coach and EMDR specialist & psychotherapist .

Hypnotherapy helps you explore your subconscious mind to discover what is going on for you in a safe, caring and professional environment. I provide positive suggestions to your unconscious mind which then helps influence the conscious decisions you make.

Hypnotherapy can be used for many areas such as;

Anxiety, depression, self-esteem, pain relief, fear of death, grief, exam anxiety, stress management, gambling, reaching goals, phobias, bad habits, weight loss, emotional trauma, insomnia, confidence building, driving test anxiety and many more.

I have many years' experience of working withalcohol addiction and have developed the essential skills to help you with alcohol reduction and also complete abstinence. But I can help with all forms of addiction including smoking, eating, drugs, gambling to name a few.

Other therapies

EFT practitioner = Emotional freedom technique or Tapping as it is also commonly known is a set of techniques which utilize the body’s energy meridian points.

EMDR specialist = Eye movement desensitisation reprocessing. EMDR is a unique non traditional form of psychotherapy designed to diminish negative feelings associated with memories of traumatic events.

NLP coach = Neuro linguistic programming. NLP is extremely popular in self help therapy, neuro refers to your neurology, linguistic refers to language , programming refers to how that neural language functions. So learning NLP is like learning the language of your own mind.

I try to integrate other therapies along with hypnotherapy sessions so that we find the right therapy that works for you.
