About me

Specialisms include: fertility, trauma and mind-body (including anxiety and depression, IBS, weight/eating issues).

I am inspired every day by the positive changes in my clients’ lives and the many benefits of hypno-psychotherapy.  As an experienced hypno-psychotherapist, I train and supervise future hypno-psychotherapists (for the National College of Hypno-Psychotherapy) in addition to my therapy practice.

I understand that contacting a therapist for the first time can feel daunting.  If you are reaching out for therapeutic support, I’m guessing that you are longing for something to be different.

Maybe you feel stuck. Maybe you never feel good enough. Maybe you are in emotional or physical pain.  Maybe there’s this unwanted “thing” that is always there, hanging over you, affecting everything you do.

That “thing” could be a painful past.  Or maybe it’s anxiety, an eating or weight issue, a health or fertility issue, a phobia, a habit or addiction or some other unwanted way of thinking, feeling or behaving.

Whatever that thing is, it’s affecting you.  And I’m so pleased you are here so that now this can change.

I offer a safe, non-judgemental and supportive space.  I understand that for many of us it can feel that we’re stuck with “that thing”.  It’s also possible to resist or fear change whilst – at the very same time – long for something to be different.

I use evidence-based methods and draw on the latest understandings of psychology, neuroscience and mind-body medicine.  Hypno-psychotherapy is an excellent choice if you are not sure what style of therapy you want or need.  It is a fusion of hypnotherapy, psychotherapy and coaching and counselling skills.

Our mindset affects our whole experience of life.  And with the right support we can, quite literally, change our minds and our experience of life.

I offer a holistic mind-body approach to health and wellbeing. This means that I don't view our minds and our bodies as separate entities. Our minds and bodies are in constant communication – and each influences the other. Disturbance at an emotional level can affect physical health and vice versa.

By restoring mind-body balance you can resolve issues affecting your health and wellbeing. You can change unhelpful habits, patterns of behaviour and thinking. You can overcome anxiety. You can manage and/or reduce physical symptoms such as chronic pain or irritable bowel syndrome. You can achieve your goals, get more out of life and experience your personal optimal health.
