About me

Hello, I’m Alan Beavon and I’m a fully qualified clinical hypnotherapist. Over ten years ago I had one session of hypnotherapy which helped me to immediately and completely give up smoking, and this started my interest in psychology and the uses of hypnotherapy.

I now offer individualised hypnotherapy, aiming for a positive life change in the shortest amount of time, and as a client you will be involved in planning your treatment.

Hypnotherapy can be used to help you make positive life changes such as achieving goals or removing unwanted behaviours. Just a few of the issues, conditions and habits that can be treated and improved with hypnotherapy are; smoking, weight control, anxiety, lack of confidence, fears and phobias, insomnia, snoring, nail biting, teeth grinding, pain control, headaches, performance anxiety and there are many more.

If you would like to discuss whether hypnotherapy can be used for an issue or condition not listed here please contact me. You can contact me by phone call, text or email to discuss how hypnotherapy can help you to make positive life changes.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have worked and volunteered as a tutor and a support worker, and have been involved in areas of adult mental health with the NHS and a charity. Alongside my Sussex Hypnotherapy practice I am a volunteer hypnotherapist with the charity Muma Nurture, which deals with fertility, pregnancy and related loss issues across Sussex.
