About me

As a HypnoCoach, it is my job to help you find the triggers to the thoughts keeping you awake at night, causing you feelings of stress or anxiety.
Using a combination of hypnosis and coaching tools, together we are able to identify the root cause of areas of imbalance in your life. Most issues stem back to childhood and have been well and truly buried in the back of the subconscious mind.
The subconscious mind is the part of the mind responsible for all of our habits, be they the good ones or bad, and is designed to protect and keep us safe.
When thinking of habits we generally think of things associated with bad habits, such as nail biting, smoking, laziness, scrolling through social media, procrastination... but, habits relate to our thought processes too, negative thoughts, self-criticism, self-loathing - all of these are habits that prevent us from achieving our goals, dreams or desires - in essence, our state of happiness.

The CNHC encompasses many types of alternative therapy, including hypnotherapy.

In order to be admitted to the register a practitioner must have studied to the National Occupational Standards for that profession/discipline, or have reached the equivalent of the National Occupational Standards through other relevant training or at least three years of experience and been assessed by their peers.

A practitioner must also have professional insurance and agree to abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.

The General Hypnotherapy Register

Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).

Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.

All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.

Information about health conditions (*)

Hypnotherapy can enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. Further information

Working as a Solution Focused HypnoCoach means that I use a combination of both Hypnotherapy & Life Coaching skills. This enables me to help clients achieve even more powerful results than with just hypnotherapy or coaching alone.

My work is based here in the heart of the Worcestershire countryside,  however, I also offer workplace workshops, and work with clients across the globe using zoom.

My previous role as a Sports Therapist led me to gain a great understanding of the human body, now as a HypnoCoach, working with the mind, I believe that with almost 20 years in the Wellness industry I have learnt about the human pyschee,  interpreting body language and have discovered what people say is rarely what they mean.

Through our work together, clients learn about self-awareness, understand where certain behaviours and habits come from and can start to create a clear path for forward momentum.

My journey into HypnoCoaching began in 2015 after my retirement from Sports Therapy having been through treatment for Breast Cancer in 2013/2015. Last year, in 2020, I found myself having to use my own teachings and techniques on myself after being diagnosed with stage 4 secondary cancer. I was able to radicalise my diet and lifestyle and within 4 months my body was showing no evidence of cancer, and to this day continues to remain cancer-free. I don't take this lightly, and continue to work on my mindset daily.
