Hi, I am a Clinical Hypnotherapist based in private practice in my hometown of Bewdley and am passionate about helping others to create change and move forward in their life.
During my time in practice I have worked with both men and women aged from 15 years all the way up to the age of 76.
Everyone has a different reason for wanting to create change, and I truly believe that if the desire is there the change can be created.
As a rule I will recommend a minimum of 3 sessions, however, everyone is individual and not one shoe fits all.
It is important to remember that change is not always created overnight, but anything is possible.
I feel that my 12 year background in Sports Therapy has given me a good level of understanding of peoples need to be nurtured, supported and encouraged throughout their journey.
In addition to my clinic work, I also offer corporate clinics for personal development within the workplace & group talks to enable to gain a greater understanding of hypnotherapy.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a fully qualified and insured clinical hypnotherapist hold a Diploma in Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy (GQHP) and am a Registered Member of General Hypnotherapy Standards Council GHSC GHR) & Complimentary Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).
I hold additional qualifications in:
- Mental Health First Aid (MFHA)
- Menopause Relief Programme
Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council
The CNHC encompasses many types of alternative therapy, including hypnotherapy.
In order to be admitted to the register a practitioner must have studied to the National Occupational Standards for that profession/discipline, or have reached the equivalent of the National Occupational Standards through other relevant training or at least three years of experience and been assessed by their peers.
A practitioner must also have professional insurance and agree to abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.
The General Hypnotherapy Register
Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).
Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.
All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.
Accredited register membership
Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Information about health conditions (*)
Nutritional therapy can help enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting nutritional therapy or making any major changes to your diet or lifestyle.
I offer a free initial telephone conversation.
One-2-One Consultation 60 minutes - £30
Initial Session 90 minutes (includes 30 minute consultation) - £85
Individual Sessions 60 minutes - £70
Smoking Cessation (one off session) £170
In addition to my work in clinic, I am also Vice Chair of Bosom Buddies Breast Cancer Support. A local group set up myself and 3 other ladies, all of whom have gone through the trauma of breast cancer.
The group has been created to help and support other ladies, predominantly from the local area, however as the group has grown and developed over the past three years we are now finding that ladies from all around the country are also joining us on line.
Having been diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 41 back in 2013 I have had to adapt and create my own change in order to find a new norm.
I do believe that with my background in sports therapy and my own personal experiences of grief, change and self development over recent years, it does put me a position of greater understanding and empathy towards those who have gone through or are going through life struggles.
