About me

Change is possible

Hello and welcome to my page. My name is Abi Anson and, as an experienced hypnotherapist I am here to help you work through whatever is troubling you with the aim of moving you towards making a sustainable change for the better.

My clients are people from all different walks of life but with one thing in common - they have a problem that's negatively affecting their lives and want help to move forwards. I have worked with my clients on a wide variety of issues including anxiety, depression, phobias, trauma, insomnia and low self-confidence/self-esteem.

If you choose to work with me then together we will use the safe, confidential space that my therapy session provides to work on your problem in a way that meets your needs, keeps you in control and helps you towards the changes you want. Although problems can sound the same each client is unique, so my sessions are tailored towards what suits you. We move at your pace, and your wellbeing is at the forefront the whole time.

How can I help?

I would describe Cognitive Hypnotherapy as a talking therapy with dynamic techniques. This means you get the space you need to explain and explore what is troubling you which then helps me to choose the most suitable hypno-therapeutic techniques that could help you find your solution more quickly than is possible with talking alone. I am experienced in using in a wide variety of techniques including, among others, Time Line therapy; Rewind for Phobias / Trauma; Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP); EFT; Parts therapy and Relaxation /Guided Imagery.

My practice

My therapy room is in the wonderful Natural Health Therapy Centre in Hertford, who’s whole ethos provides a calming, caring atmosphere. I work on a Tuesday and Wednesday offering face to face appointments in the afternoons/evenings and online appointments in the mornings.

Located in Old Cross, there is plenty of parking locally making it an easy place to visit.

Fees

My charges

Please feel free to contact me via phone or email for a free chat about whatever is bothering you. I can also answer any questions you might have about hypnotherapy and we can get a feel for whether I’m the right therapist for you.

You can also book an initial assessment appointment to discuss your issue more fully. This gives a more in-depth opportunity for us to discuss your problem and talk about how I may be able to help. This session costs just £25.00.

Then, if you decide to work with me, each on going therapy session costs £65 for an hour.

Although typically I see clients for between 3 – 7 sessions, it is difficult to say exactly how many sessions you may need as each person is different. I space sessions according to individual’s needs, but usually we start weekly then change to every 2 -3 weeks as you move forwards and gain confidence.

For more info on how I can help please give me a call so we can chat through whatever's on your mind. I look forward to hearing from you soon - Abi
