Why hypnosis works for weight loss
When you've tried every diet under the sun and still haven't used that gym membership what can you do to lose weight and keep it off ?
If you know that you need to eat less and move more what might be stopping you ? For hypnotherapists the answer lies in your subconscious mind. It usually does when it's a habit that just won't respond to logic or reason. Everyone wants a healthy body so why would anyone want to sabotage that ?
Hypnosis is a means of communicating with this particular part of the mind and persuading it to let go of any obstacles to change. It is also a great way to make sure that the motivation needed is maintained over the long term .
It also helps to lift the many negative emotions surrounding body image and does so by the use of positive suggestion. Positive self-talk is useful but using it under hypnosis makes it long-lasting.
So if all else has failed and you are worried about medication or surgery, give hypnosis a go.
